The circus is in town

This afternoon we are learning circus skills. We have had lots of fun trying new things.

First we practised diabolo which is from China. Alex had fun trying to get it to spin. Emily and Jess said it was hard because it kept getting in a tangle.

Then we tried plate spinning which was just as tricky at first, but we soon got the hang of it. Joe was an expert before long and Matthew looked like a professional.

Last of all we tried poise which took really good skills in concentration. We were glad they were soft balls!
